Currently, I am an author, curriculum specialist and educational consultant. My book may be of interest to members of this wiki, Guided Inquiry: Learning in the 21st Century. I hold a PhD in Curriculum and Instruction in the Content Areas. I taught in elementary school for 11 years. In my last three years of teaching I served as a Reading Recovery teacher and and Early Literacy specialist. I also hold National Board Certification in Early Childhood Ed.

I have led many staff development seminars as well as teacher leadership training. I have also taught at the university in undergraduate and graduate education courses.

I am most interested in integrated curriculum and an inquiry approach as that relates to 21st Century Learning and preparing students for the changing workforce, information age and the global society in which we live.
