I am a teacher librarian at East Middle School in Grand Junction, CO. I have over 20 years of experience in public education, first as a middle school Science and Math teacher, and now teaching and collaborating in my dream job as a Teacher Librarian. Currently, I am serving on the Colorado State Library’s Standards Vision Committee. In my district, I serve on the On-line Learning task force and I am the Technology Representative for my school.

I am passionate about teaching and learning.
I believe that School Libraries and Teacher Librarians must take a leadership role in establishing a network that includes the entire learning community of librarians, teachers, students, administrators, parents and legislators whose mission will be to deliver the knowledge and skills needed to thrive in the 21st Century.
